Symbolic Map

in the first picture we have the first big project we made was A symbolic map with all the personal objects we have. We used different techniques with Watercolors and learn lots of thins about how to paint to create different textures with simple things such as a paint brush, water and grains of salt. I included many symbolic things in my projects such as my favorite things, my pets, my adventures and my dreams I have for the future. I used the different textures to create other scenarios in my map. I used different mixtures of colors to create the different colors of the ocean and also other mixtures and the salt to create the textures I needed to create the effect of a grainy desert. At the end I named the island Bowisland because of my nickname and because it was my island I think it was better to have. My weakness in this project was using the aqua colors techniques and my strengths were painting the ocean because I liked to mix the colors.
